The College educates engineers with a practical approach heading for a job in the industrial sector. We have close ties to the local industry and emphasize cooperation regarding development, engineering training and projects. The Engineering College has app. 1500 students, app 160 employees and in 2007 a turnover of app. 112 mil. DKK (15 mil. Euro).

In close cooperation with the Engineering College the University of Aarhus offers a number of Master of Engineering degrees superimposing our professional degrees.
Laboratories
The Engineering College of Aarhus has recently established a number of industry-related laboratories involved in technical development. Here students and staff from the College meet with partners from industry to develp new technology, processes and products. In this way the Engineering College of Aarhus has become a serious partner for both national and international companies.
Our laboratories encompass areas such as Biomedical Engineering, Pervasive Computing, Electronics and Photonics, Indoor Climate and Control Applications.
International Cooperation
We run courses in English for foreign students and have partner institutions all over the world, with which we exchange students and lecturers. In this network we also facillitate exchange of ideas in order to improve technical and educational development.
