Description:
A new road, called Ny Mejlbyvej, is placed east of Gl. Egaa and planned in detail. This includes horizontal- and vertical alignments and a cross section. The existing road which leads through Gl. Egaa will intersect Ny Mejlbyvej and a roundabout and a T-junction will be planned in detail as well. The horizontal- and vertical alignments are designed after the principles of a harmonic road.
Furthermore will a town planning of Gl. Egaa be prepared to see, which consequences a new bypass road will have.
The result is that the local community is very pleased if a bypass road is built, because it moves the traffic round the city where it today goes through. An analysis is also made to see which crossroad is ideal, and the conclusion is that a T-junction will be the one to prefer.
