Enroll in good time
You are of course welcome to take care of accommodation yourself, if you wish, but you must inform the International Office of this.
It is of paramount importance that you enroll in good time, as the housing situation in Aarhus is always chaotic at the beginning of a new semester.

The rent (does not apply for sublet rooms)

The rent for a single room is between 1800 DKK - 2400 DKK per month (Aug. 2008) plus a 4000 DKK deposit. The rent must be paid in advance at the beginning of each month on a special Giro payment form. This can be done at the post office or at the bank. The deposit must be paid to the Engineering College before 15 June for the autumn semester and 15 December for the spring semester. The first rent must be paid to the College upon arrival.

Please note:
If you have signed up for accommodation on your application form, we will provide a room for you. However, if you for some reason choose not to make use of the room, you will be obliged to pay for the mandatory 6 weeks' notice.
Once we have rented a room for you at a student hall, it is in general not possible to switch rooms.
