The Aarhus University School of Engineering keeps close contact to the industrial life that our graduates have been adjusted to.
 

The structure of the education is based on experience from companies. The Aarhus University School of Engineering receives a range of impulses from companies which tell them what the needs are and how they are expected to change.
This information is essential when the technical profiles and their chains of optional subjects are chosen.
 

Solving problems

The cooperation between the Aarhus University School of Engineering and the companies can also be within specific problems, where the Aarhus University School of Engineering in one way or another can help to solve them.
The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) studies are in close cooperation with the University Hospital, Skejby Sygehus. For many years major research cooperation has taken place in connection with ultrasonic measurements for the determination of the conditions of the blood flow patterns in the great vessels.
For this purpose, the laboratory in connection with the ICT has manufactured a series of special ultrasonic transducers.

 

Cooperation with major and local companies

Apart from this, there are links to several major companies, such as Bang & Olufsen Technology, Tele Danmark A/S, and for Mechanical Engineering Lego System A/S and Grundfos A/S.
Our staff at Civil and Structural Engineering also have links to local consulting engineers, contracting companies and local authorities, from where project titles will often be provided.
