Close cooperation with companies 

At the Engineering College of Aarhus we have a long tradition for close cooperation with the business world, and we cooperate closely with companies on developing new technology and testing ideas in practice.

We educate and train engineers which are familiar with the companies' working conditions and at the same time are able to contribute to the continuing production and development.

 

Two obvious opportunities for cooperating with the Engineering College of Aarhus are:

 

Have a share in our knowledge in our laboratories 

Through our laboratories companies can get help for product development as well as analysis and guidance. At present, we have 10 laboratories, with more to come. 

  

Get an engineering student for an traineeship

Companies have the possibility to get one of Aarhus School of Engineering's students in an traineeship with the duration of five month. During the traineeship, the student works as an integrated employee of the company.  

 

Through an engineering traineeship, the student obtains an invaluable insight into the industrial sector. The Engineering College is therefore always on the lookout for companies willing to have a trainee. Especially international companies, since we see it as important that the students get accustomed to working in an international environment. Your company gets a highly motivated, skilled trainee to participate in the work, carry out an asssignment, and come up with new ideas.

And then there are all the other possibilities, from bachelor and master thesis to study projects, mentor arrangements, research partners, summer schools etc.
