Description:
In this project the group has worked with the expansion of Esbjerg Stadium. In cooperation with Grontmij | Carl Bro the group has received the finished architectural plans from the architectural company Friis & Moltke. Based on these plans the group has envisaged being employees in a consulting engineering company in charge of designing the bearing constructions in the expansion of Esbjerg Stadium. The bearing constructions consist of both steel and reinforced concrete.
The project group has developed a static system for the main grandstand and proven that the bearing constructions can direct both vertical and horizontal forces to the foundations in a sufficient manner.
Furthermore, the group has designed selected parts of the construction in detail and proven their bearing capacity in accordance to Euro codes.
