Filtering IHA mails in Gmail

When forwarding all your IHA mails to your Gmail account, you get your private and IHA mails mixed.

To solve this you can create a seperate folder (label in gmail) for your IHA mails and create a filter that will sort your IHA mails in that folder instead of the normal inbox where you have all your private mails.

Filtering IHA mails in Gmail - Guide:

1:

Click on Settings and Labels.

In the box "Create a new label" type the name you want the label to have e.g. "IHA" and click Create.

2:

When you have created the label you should be able to see it under Labels like shown below

3:

Now you need to create a Filter that will automatically move mail you recieve from IHA to this "IHA" label.

To do this click on Filters and then "Create a new filter"

4:

In the filter criteria you need to set the filter to apply to mails sent to your iha mail address.

Do this by typing your IHA mail address in the To: box.

After that click Next Step.

5:

In the filter action you need to specify what you want the filter to do with the mails sent to your IHA address.

In this example i have set that i do not want the IHA mails in my Inbox together with my private emails but only want them in the IHA label. You can ofcourse customize this as you like.

6:

When you have created your filter it will be shown under Filters where you can edit it later like shown below.

7:

Now all mail sent to your IHA mail address will be sorted in the IHA label instead of the inbox.

You can find the IHA label in the left menu below the inbox.
