Description:
This bachelor project concerns the design of structures of the stadium Forum Horsens. The design used in the calculation is based on drawings by the architectural firm 3xNielsen.
The basic structures (shown on the picture above) contains of a tribune-area, and a roof-area. The roof is primarily performed in steel, where the tribune primarily is concrete. The elements of the tribune-area are all documented for rhythmic load, in case of fluctuations in the construction. The large cantilevered beam in the roof varies in height according to the static situations.
Calculations of the elements are documented in the appendix section, and the drawings are hereby made. Detailed drawing of the project is made early to get a better understanding of the construct as a whole.
