“The quality of equipment in the school impresses me. Every class is equipped with a projector to whic you can connect a laptop, this helps during the lectures and presentations. I also have to mention the relationship between the students and the teacher. Here students call their teacher by his or her name which shortens the distance between them.”
Lukasz Gratkowski from Szczecin in Poland (International Semesters in Environmental Construction Engineering)

Student in Aarhus
Aarhus is the second largest town i Denmark. It has a population of 300,000 people, out of which app. 40,000 are students, and this creates a vibrant young atmosphere and makes Aarhus a great place to study.
In Aarhus you will meet students from all over Europe, and receive an invaluable insight into the way people in other countries think, which is an advantage when applying for a job in any large international firm. And the subjects you choose will replace subjects in your education in your home country, so you do not end up spending more time in the classroom.

Applicants from countries outside of Scandinavia have to document that they can speak and write Danish before they can be admitted to any of the Danish programmes at the Engineering College of Aarhus. This means that as a foreign applicant you have to pass the Study Test in Danish (former Danish Test 2).
The Study Test consists of 4 parts: reading comprehension, listening comprehension, written presentation and oral communication. The Engineering College of Aarhus requires that you have passed all four parts with the grade 02/E.
Beside the Study Test you have to meet the standard and specific admission requirements to apply for one of our programmes. The Engineering College of Aarhus requires an upper secondary education with the Highest Level in Mathematics, the Advanced Level in Physics and the Intermedate Level in Chemistry.
A foreign exam will be evaluated using CIRIUS exam handbook in order to compare the required levels to the Danish grading system.
