Do you want to develop new intelligent healthcare technologies which create safety for patients in their own home by use of surveillance and treatment? Do you want to design user-friendly devices which can ease everyday life for the elderly and do you think that medico-technology, clinical biomechanics and user-driven innovation are interesting subjects? Then the Bachelor in Healthcare Technology is something for you.
The program is interdisciplinary and combines medico-technology, electronics and information technology with an understanding and knowledge of health. The objective is to increase the quality of life for patients, elderly and other groups with the need for treatment and care by the use of technology.
As fully-trained engineer your work opportunities lay in the public and private sector, for example in the hospital service or medico-industry.
The commencement of study is in august only. The number of new students admitted is at present limited to 40 students.
