Requirements for Admission

 
  1. You must be in the final year of your B. Eng. studies or at a similar educational level.  
  2. The activity you wish to pursue must be a compulsory and integral part of your studies at home and in agreement wiht your home university. They must sign and stamp the application to verify this. 
  3. You must have passed a TOEFL-test (score 550) or equivalent. If you come from a partner institution, a document testifying that you have sufficient language skills to pursue an international programme will be sufficient. In case of doubt, we will reserve the right to test the student's English language skills via telephone/Skype. 
  4. If applying for the International Semester in Wastewater Engineering or the International Semester in Water Supply Engineering, you must have passed a basic course in Hydraulics/Geology.
  5. If applying for the International Semesters in Mechanical Design you must have passed basic courses in Thermodynamics and Mechanics of Materials. 
  6. If applying for the International Semester(s) in Applied App Development you must have passed a basic course in C++ or Java.    
  7. If applying for the International Semesters in Embedded DSP you must have passed basic courses in C++ and in Signal Processing. 

It is important that your English is sufficient enough to follow the lectures, read texts in English, and participate actively in group work.

To many exchange students it may be difficult to adjust to a different study environment and new teaching methods. The Engineering College place emphasis on the ability to work in groups, to do a considerable amount of homework and to have an independent, active and critical approach to the teaching.
