The Student Union (DSR)

DSR is an organization run by and consisting of students. DSR works towards creating a good social environment among the students and initiates many social activities.

Special reduced membership fee for international students: 50 DKK/semester.
 

Student House (Studenterhus Århus)

A new meeting place for all students in Aarhus is located on the Aarhus University campus. Studenterhus Århus arranges a wide variety of activities for Danish and International students. This is a great place to meet others students, go to concerts, have a drink or listen to stand up comedy, lectures, discussions or poetry readings. 
 

Every month they have a new program with new and exciting events and activities, amongst others an international night, café visits, cinema evenings and outings. You can become a member and enjoy discounts etc. (The Engineering College will pay the fee).

 

Studenterhus Århus also has language classes. Students will have to pay themselves if they wish to participate in a language class. 

 

Studenterhus Århus also offers an introduction course to Denmark in cooperation with Aarhus University. Students at the Enigineering College will have to cover the cost of this course themselves.

Students' pub (Harrys Kælder / Harry's Cellar)

The students' pub is open to students and staff at the Engineering College. From time to time there will be various activities, mainly musical entertainment. Every Thursday and Friday afternoons students will get together for a social chat, enjoy a beer or two and listen to music.
 

B-Day

Each year in August students and staff from Civil and Structural Engineering gather for social and cultural activities on "B-day". Competitions, events and an evening party bring people together in a playful and relaxed atmosphere.
