Summer School Composite Materials Technology 2010

Are you interested in getting a special insight into Composite Materials and Structures together with International and Danish students in your summer holidays?

In close cooperation with representatives from the composites industry in Denmark, the University of Aarhus and the Engineering College of Aarhus offers a Summer School with focus on Composite Materials from 8-20 August 2010 at "Fuglsøcentret", Denmark.

The purpose of the Summer School is to enable you to apply your engineering competences to Composite Materials Technology problems, and to gain an insight into the failure modes of these materials and manufacturing issues.

The Summer School will focus on fracture mechanical modelling, localisation of deformation and computational issues based on FEM.

A considerable part of the course will be carried out in cooperation with the Danish composites industry. Several days the lessons will be conducted by the companies at their localities.
