Sustainable energy technology for heating
Are you interested in reduction of energy use, reduction of carbon emissions and smart use of heat and power, then apply for this Summer School with focus on District Energy
In close cooperation with representatives from the District Energy industry in Denmark, the Engineering College of Aarhus offers a Summer School with focus on District Heating Technology from 8-20 August 2010 at "Fuglsøcentret", Denmark.
Objectives
The purpose of the Summer School is to enable you to apply your engineering competences to District Energy issues, and to gain an insight into the technology and the main components, different kinds of heat production, smart production and consumption, and the great environmental advantage in using District Energy.
Method
The Summer School will combine lectures, company visits and exercises and finish with a case study.
A considerable part of the course will be carried out in cooperation with industry, heat supply companies, consulting engineers and the Danish Development Centre for District Energy. Several days the lessons will be conducted by the companies at their localities.
Who can apply?
