Description:
By the highway E45 near Fredericia, The subsidiary of MTHøjgaard, Promecon, needs a new main office. The building covers 3100 m2, divided over offices, conference rooms, reception, cafeteria and common areas.
Promecon is a projects management company, specializing in steel constructions such as off-shore platforms and processing plants.
Objectives:
- As a main focus, the bachelor project deals with statics and the design of bearing constructions in general, with the exception of the foundations.
- As a secondary focus, the bachelor project aims at complementing the architectural visage, with said construction design.
The vision of the office is twofold:
- Implement the strengths of steel as material, as much as possible, thus showcasing the company’s competences.
- Create an open and dynamic work space, accentuating the flow and inter communication between offices, such as is practice in a projects management company.
