The wireless network doesn't work

Wireless networks can be complex to troubleshoot. Not only the strength of the signal, but also the quality of the antenna on the network adapter and the drivers are an important factor. Even small changes to i.e. furnishing in a room can have an impact on the wireless network, and you might not be able to connect.

If you are not able to connect or the connection seems unstable, it is very important that you ensure that you have the newest driver and firmware for your network adapter. You can download this from the manufacturer or the network adapters website.

If nothing seems to be working, it is possible, at some locations, to connect to the network through a network cable. Contact HelpDesk to find out, if it is possible at the location you are at. 

However, it is highly important that you try make the the wireless network function on your laptop.
