Traineeship

The students at Aarhus University School of Engineering have to take a five month traineeship as part of their bachelor studies.
The aim is to give students a thorough understanding for working conditions in companies as well as to get an understanding of the marked for which products are produced and developed.
During their traineeship, the students work as engineering assistants and use their theory from their education on solving practical engineering tasks.
A natural part of every day life
The students will be involved in the every day life in the companies and will perform actual work. This could e.g. be an idea or a project the student has brought up himself or an issue the company wants to solve.
Throughout the traineeship, the student will experience various issues which companies meet today. A traineeship also opens up for testing ideas in practice and experiencing the business world closely.
International opportunities
Some students choose to take their traineeship abroad - for example in a foreign division of a Danish company. It is also possible for Danish students to get a foreign engineering student as a trainee.
