Wireless networks on IHA
There are a number of different SSIDs available on IHA. The following is a short description
IHA-HIGHSPEED
Used to connect laptops for IHA users. Only clients with a network card supporting the na (n on 5GHz) standard can connect to this network. Theoretical speed of 300 Mbit.
IHA-OPENNET
Used to connect laptops for IHA users. Only clients with a network card supporting the g (2,4GHz) standard can connect to this network. Theoretical speed of 54 Mbit, users should use IHA-HIGHSPEED if their network card supports it.
IHA-GUESTNET
Used to connect guest computers to the network. Username and password are available at the reception.
IHA-CONFIG
Used to connect computers for the first time to download guides and configuration. No username or password is required but there is only access to the support pages.
Encryption
All encrypted SSIDs use WPA2 with AES encryption. All modern network cards support this but older phones and other low end devices may be unable to connect.
